TVGuardian HD

We have had a TVGuardian standard unit for several years. It was time for an upgrade. I have been in contact with Britt Bennett, president of TVGuardian, since July 2011 in the hopes of getting a HD unit in order to review and of course, upgrade. Finally, the units were in stock and he agreed to send me one to review. (I am sure he wants to get the word out about his product to the most people, so please leave comments and if you purchase one, please tell him I sent you. :) )

I received a TVGuardian HD unit in the mail this past week and my husband and I want to share with you the pros and cons of having a language filtering unit such as this one in your home but that will come in a later post. For now, here's the unboxing and installing video.

These TVGuardian HD units cost $229.95 to buy but you can also rent one for $12.95 a month. (Other prices are available for standard units.)

Remember, I will be making more posts about this unit, so stay tuned. :)

I received this unit for free in exchange for my honest opinion. No other compensation was received or expected.

  1. Sounds interesting. I'm not a big fan of the older version, but maybe they have corrected the issues and made a better product. :)

  2. Oh and the video was very thorough and Dad of 7 Kids did a good job explaining how to install and what all came with the unit.
