Camping...again

We went to Tyler State Park this week with 5 of my kids and my mom and step-dad. Had a good time. Did lots of walking and sweating. :) The swimming was good, especially yesterday. It wasn't too hot or too cool and the kids enjoyed jumping off the floating dock. We opened some freshwater clams and hand fed some small to smaller sized fishes. :) That was pretty cool. If you ever go to TSP, it's worth it to get the camp site that has a tent and RV spot as it's right next to the water. We rented a Jon Boat and rowed our way around the lake. Tried fishing but didn't catch much and none while in the boat. Oh well. It was fun. Looking forward to our next overnight camping trip. Maybe we'll invest in a couple of tents and go during the school year when it's not so busy. Actually, it wasn't crowded this time, just hot. Now it's time to start over where I left off back in May...cleaning out Courtney's new room / old school room. I do believe it can wait until Saturday though. :)
