The Reunion by Rachael McIntire Review

I just read a fairly short story and wanted to tell you about it. The Reunion is about two families who each adopt daughters and the lives they live. One is raised in a Christian home, the other in a home where Jesus was never mentioned. One part really caught my attention. When one of the girls wants to give something away to someone less fortunate, instead of her mother agreeing, she encourages prayer before doing so, noting that "not all seemingly good ideas are God's ideas." How true that statement is but we can be quick to act at times and not seek God's answer first.

This is a great book to read with your kids. Although no questions are included, the short chapters bring up enough topics you'll have plenty to discuss. There are a total of 127 pages of story and can easily be read in an hour or two.

To receive $2 off of your $9.99 copy, include the code REVIEW-TINA. This code is good until the end of February 2013 for $2 off but will work indefinitely for $1 off after that date. Click here to go to the order page.

I received this book for free from Elisha Press in exchange for my honest opinion. No other compensation was received or expected.
