The Daniel Fast Book Review

The Daniel Fast is written by Susan Gregory. Susan is the "Daniel Fast Blogger" and can be found at This book takes you by the hand and shows you how to fast including a 21-day plan that can be followed or adapted to your needs. The Daniel Fast is, in a nutshell, a type of vegan diet except you can't have animal products, sweeteners, chemicals, man-made products, alcohol, caffeine, or any other stimulant. You can have whole grains, seeds, and nuts, and some oils. You can drink only water.

So, although I did not go on this diet, I do know the benefits of eating healthy. I participated in a 33-day detox which was raw vegan and have been on a modified version of that since October 2011. I can attest to the fact that if you can switch over to this healthy food plan, you will have more energy and feel better.
